Tell us your story! What made you want to take part in the Love Me True Campaign?
I am only just learning after many, many years that I am a worthy, lovely person. My partner who I met 2 years ago has been the only man who I really feel that I can give myself freely too emotionally and with my whole heart. I feel like I am stronger having him in my life and my beautiful daughter. These two awesome people have healed me in many ways. I am a strong independent loving person who just wants to be happy. Nothing more to be honest. I have always been a caring person who will help anyone out, I dislike it when people hurt others or critique them because they don’t fit into a category, we are all different and should be celebrated for us not our size or looks, beauty to me goes beyond that, their are some pretty ugly beautiful people out there and that’s something I’d never aspire to be. 

What advice would you offer to other women who are considering taking part in the campaign? 
Go ahead and take the opportunity to empower yourself. It’s fun and Jessie is fantastic and makes you feel wonderful. I highly recommend it. A great confidence booster if you are shy or needing to reconnect with yourself. Also it’s lovely way to treat yourself. 

What is your favourite NON physical feature about yourself? (After all, beauty is not only on the inside!)     
My kindness, I will always and no matter what stop to help any creature in need or child and person if I can. The amount of times I stopped my car in the middle of the road etc to save poor lil ducklings or birds. I believe every creature deserves a chance in life. ❤️

What is your favourite physical feature about yourself?
I love my eyes and my laugh and lips

What does it mean to love yourself?
To accept you for being you, Having a healthy regard for yourself and accepting yourself as you are and to come to terms with those aspects you cannot change. I believe in having compassion for oneself so that it spills into enough for others.  

Is there any advice you would like to share with others who struggle to see their own beauty?
We are all unique and as woman. We should help rise each other and celebrate our differences because we would be bloody boring if we all looked the same, sort of like dolls in a box lined up, how does that show differences and culture, size, weight, ideologies, experiences, challenges and unique qualities we all have. It’s just about letting everyone feel comfortable and valued to let their inner beauty glow and why the hell shouldn’t we feel beautiful.

How did you feel during the experience?
I really enjoyed it, Jessie took me out of my comfort zone which is exactly what I needed to reconnect with myself. I struggle with that at times and for me to place myself in a room in front of a camera makes me become very awkward hahaha but I must say Jessie makes you feel like the feminine being you were born to be. I loved it. 

How did this experience impact you? Have you noticed any changes in yourself, be it your self-confidence or anything else since your session?
I am now more accepting of myself, I have struggled with self confidence over the years and meeting Jessie and been part of the campaign made me feel empowered again as I’m sure most woman struggle with self confidence at some point in their lives and to participate in an opportunity like this made me reconnect with myself, almost like awakening my inner womanhood and that I’m beautiful as I am. I wish I could have told my younger self to celebrate being a woman with confidence and acceptance more often. I have always maintained that with my daughter and last year she made me a photo board and in it was a small quote, which made me, tear up - “I am a strong woman because a strong woman raised me”. I’m proud she feels this way at a young age because I wish I did at her age. 

What was the best part of the experience?
Meeting two amazing lovely young woman who made me feel fantastic and beautiful.

Definitely who wouldn’t after meeting such an awesome woman like Jessie she’s just beautiful.
